August 15th: Solemn Eucharist and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, Cathedral of All Saints, Albany, 7pm
On August 15, the Church celebrates the Feast of Saint Mary the Virgin. The honor paid to Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ our Lord and God, goes back to the earliest days of the Christian Church. Your Cathedral will commemorate this feast with a Solemn Eucharist, to be followed immediately by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, a devotional service where we honor the mystery of the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. August 15th: Hope In Recovery, Christ Church, Coxsackie, 7-9pm
The Diocese of Albany Recovery Commission is hosting “Hope in Recovery for Our Community” at Christ Church, Coxsackie on Wednesday, August 15 from 7 – 9 p.m. The evening will feature presenters on some recovery topics with time at the end for discussing ideas for healing and recovery in the Greene County community and beyond.
August 19th: 225th Anniversary Service, Christ Church, Duanesburg, 10am
Christ Episcopal Church in Duanesburg will kick off its 225th anniversary year with a celebration of Holy Communion from the 1789 Book of Common Prayer, the first prayer book of the Episcopal Church. Townspeople have worshipped at the intersection of Route 20 and Duanesburg Churches Road since 1793. The church building is on the National Historic Registry and visitors may recognize architectural characteristics in common with Boston’s North Church. Rev. Alistair Morrison, formerly of the Church of Ireland, will officiate. Everyone is invited to attend an informal coffee hour following the service.
August 24, 25 & 26 Preaching Mission, St. Francis Mission, Albany
The congregation of t. Francis Mission invites you to a preaching mission each evening at 5:30 p.m. Our preacher will be Fr. Desmond Francis, Trinity Church in Lasingburgh. Fr. Desmond is a gifted, spirit-filled preacher, who will speak on the subject of: The Good Shepherd and the Abundant Christian Life” John 10:1-10. Come hear Fr. Desmond and also enjoy refreshments and hymn singing. Limiting off-street parking is available.

August 26th: 200th Anniversary celebration, St. Paul’s Waddington
Our service will be at 1:00 PM that day with The Right Rev’d William Love, Bishop of Albany presiding at this service and celebration. There will be a reception after the service. It’s believed St. Paul’s is the oldest Christian Church North of the Mohawk River. Please invite friends and join us for our celebration.
August 26th: Trinity Parish Carnival, Trinity Church, Lansingburgh
Trinity is hosting its first FREE carnival from 1-3pm. This is an outreach event to share the good news of Christian joy in our Lansingburgh neighborhood. September 7 & 8: Tools for the Journey Retreat

Complicated lives – Looking for less stress.
