June 23rd: Men’s Cursillo Reunion, 9:30am-1:30pm 
The recent Men’s Cursillo Weekend lead by Dan Branigan and Fr. Scott Garno and their team was a Blessing with our new condensed 3 day format…Praise God! The reunion will be at Church of the Messiah in Glens Falls. Family and friends are more than welcome and if you have not been on a Cursillo weekend this is great way to see what it is all about! We will begin with music, coffee and fellowship at 9:00  and Eucharist at 10:00. The new Cursillistas and Team will share their weekend experience along with guest speakers.  Remember to bring your lunch!

June 26th: Suicide Prevention Workshop, 1pm, Church of the Good Shepherd, Canajoharie
Come to our Community Forum, which we call Reuel’s Well,at Church of the Good Shepherd, 26 Moyer St. Canajoharie, NY. This is a critically important meeting so please INVITE everyone and anyone to come.  This will be a suicide prevention workshop!  The main thrust is “How to Start the Conversation.”  Materials will be handed out to spread far and wide to help in this effort.  This is in the same category as knowing CPR!!! Please network this out through your contacts.   No need to RSVP!  Just come. The church is air conditioned.

June 30th – July 2: St. James’ Art & Craft Festival, St. James’ Lake George
Browse through booths of pottery, jewelry, woodwork, fabric arts and more created by Adirondack Artisans. This juried festival showcases their work and gives you the opportunity to purchase one of a kind gifts. Christmas is coming! Good food will be available for you to savoy while you browse. Come and bring a friend. Hours are: June 30 9am-5pm; July 1 Noon-5pm; July 2 9am-5pm


July 5th: Morning Prayer with Exposition and Benediction, 10am  St. Ann’s, Amsterdam
St. Ann’s will be celebrating Morning Prayer with Exposition and Benediction on Thursday, July 5. This will be a combination of quiet meditation and prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and Morning Prayer, concluding with Benediction.

Free Narcan Training:  Tues​day​​July 24 at 6:30 pm at St. Ann’s, Amsterdam
The training is free, but registration is required.  Call 518-842-2363, or email   Naloxone has been fundamental in the efforts to decrease rates of fatal overdoses. This training teaches first responders, likely opioid overdose witnesses and community members to understand, recognize, respond to and reverse opioid overdoses using a naloxone rescue kit. Participants will receive a free naloxone rescue kit after completing the training. This training is modeled after the evidence-based SAMHSA Opioid Overdose Prevention Toolkit.


October 1st – 3rd: 2018 Through the Door to Holiness Conference: Worship the Lord in the Beauty of Holiness
Christ the King Spiritual Life Center

The Sisters of St. Mary and Christ the King Center will offer an ecumenical conference with speakers from several denominational settings to address to topic of Holiness in personal and corporate life. Look for inspiring talks, uplifting worship from varied settings and challenging discussions on the role and witness of Holiness in contemporary life. October 11-12: Amish Country Tour with Longwood Gardens and “Jesus”
