Bible Study Tools

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. – 2 Timothy 3:16

We believe the Holy Bible is God’s word and a useful tool for Christians today. Clergy and lay persons all over the Diocese of Albany seek out ways to study the Bible independently and corporately.

We recommend joining Christians all over the world who are committed to daily Bible reading by using The Daily Office. Each day you will be directed to read Old and New Testament Lessons, a Psalm and a a Gospel excerpt.

The Diocesan Update is a weekly eNewsletter that lists Bible Studies happening around the Diocese.

Below are a few links that may also help you in your pursuit to study the Bible. Please also reach out to your local church for help and inspiration for study.

Some well-known theologians and Bible Study leader are N.T. Wright, Timothy Keller, Beth Moore, Lee Strobel and C.S. Lewis
